Warren Training & Development

Warren Training & Development was set up in April 2000 initially to service the in house training needs of WarrenCare employees without the constrains and difficulties sometimes encountered when trying to co-ordinate such a large scale annual training & development plan using external providers.

Warren Training & Development are responsible for assessing and delivering the ongoing training needs and professional development of all WarrenCare staff. On 1st October 2006 we launch the new Skills for Care Common Induction Standards (Adult) 2005. A comprehensive training program which is delivered over a 12 week period consisting of 1 week group learning and 11 weeks distance learning through completion of Assignments, Case Studies, Mentoring/on the Job training, now linked as the first building block to achieving an NVQ in Care. We are a Centre of Excellence registered with City & Guilds for the delivery of NVQ’s levels 2 & 3 in Care offering a structured training program with monthly workshops. On completion of the main NVQ awards, Warren Training & Development offer all candidates the opportunity to further professional development by way of achieving additional NVQ units to tailor their NVQ award to meet the needs of specific service user groups Due to the expansion and diversification of services delivered by WarrenCare, Warren Training & Development expanded the range of training and services was to ensure a comprehensive scope of training was offered in line with services requirements and staff needs. Warren Training & Development works in partnership with other organisations and accept requests for training on a vast majority of our courses offered.
