New Improved ID BadgeWe are pleased to announce the introduction of a safer more robust identification badge.We have spent a considerable amount of time sourcing a badge and attaching device that will be safe for use when delivering care and have finally found a solution to the health and safety risk that chain badges can present. We will be phasing in the new badge gradually, inviting staff (by appointment) to call into the office to have their photo taken digitally so it can be downloaded onto computer and your badge can be produced. The badges are very similar to a credit card both in size and composition. Homecare staff will receive their badge connected to a special ‘breakaway’ lanyard featuring the WarrenCare logo that will separate in the event of it becoming snagged on an object or person. Whilst Support Workers will also be receiving the new badge, theirs will not require the lanyard as it is not appropriate to have the badge on show during a support session. If you have not already called in for your ‘mug-shot’ please do so as soon as possible and HR can send away for your new badge. Thank you |
